Update on the EU Taxonomy Regulation

Byggvarubedömningen initiated a collaboration with BASTA and SundaHus in the autumn of 2022 to establish a common approach to the Taxonomy, with a focus on Appendix C. This collaboration has expanded to include various market actors, and the group is now a part of The Swedish Construction Federation's Taxonomy Network.

The goal is to present an industry-shared approach. Currently, for those applying for assessments, you can cross-reference the candidate list, and if the substance constitutes at least 0.1% by weight, it is mandatory to include the candidate substance in the content disclosure. The same cross-referencing function is also available for the Restriction List and the POPs Regulation.
